Description
DC - 10 MHZ - VHF...UHF TRIPLEXER - 50 W RF CW
BUILT & TESTED UNIT - IT SHIPS ENCASED INSIDE A DIE-CAST ALUMINUM BOX AS SHOWN IN THE PHOTOS
PORTS:
DC: 100pF Feedthrough Cap - +5V ...30 VDC, up to 1.5 A DC protected with a 2.5 A thermal fuse (resets itself when cooled-down)
10 MHZ: 50 Ohm SMA female - Low-pass filtered 30 MHZ (-3 dB) - Can be used to send / receive a reference signal (0.12 dB insertion loss at 10 MHZ)
VHF...UHF: 90 - 450 MHZ - High-Pass filtered - Can handle 50 W CW (0.15 dB insertion loss at 145 MHZ ... <1 dB at 435 MHZ)
COMMON Port: It is the output of the 2 or 3 combined signals to be connected to the single coax. It is also the input of the remote-placed triplexer.
USE:
By having one at the shack and another identical unit at the antenna tower, one can use a single coax-line for transferring:
1. DC power up to 1.5 A (5...30 V)
2. low level 10 MHZ reference signal for a remotely placed up/down-converter
3. a VHF or UHF signal to feed the transverter - 50 W or more at VHF
LED indicator to show DC power.
SMA connectors to keep dimensions small.
Attention: This triplexer is not weather-proof, it is assumed to be placed inside another weather protection cabinet.
